CHA Report

I got home from CHA yesterday about 4:00. Checked my email, but I could barely keep my eyes open. So I took a nap. Ha!--I slept right through the night. In my clothes. I was too tired to even undress.

As usual, CHA was primarily scrapbooking stuff: papers, adhesives, albums, stickers, embellishments. But the biggest trend I noticed was that even companies that usually carried very cutesie styles and graphics usually had a new design line that featured something Steampunk-y or Grunge-y.

This made me very happy ;) I like the distressed look a lot.

I saw a few incredibly awesome new jewelry-related items and over the next couple of weeks I'll try to write a bit about them. But right now my primary focus has to be getting ready for my classes at Art Unraveled. I'll be leaving in 2 weeks and I like to spend a lot of time preparing for classes. Plus I have to ship a lot of stuff and pack a lot to bring along. Art Retreat attendees always joke that our luggage is one-tenth personal stuff like clothes and the rest is tools and supplies.

Wish me lots of energy and focus--I'll need it!
